Laura Marling has revealed the title and tracklisting for her new album. Called [b”I Speak Because I Can’[/b], the follow-up to her 2008 Mercury Prize nominated debut ‘Alas, I Cannot Swim’, will be released on March 1. Produced by Ryan Adams and Kings Of Leon collaborator Ethan Johns, the album’s release will be followed by a tour of the UK and Ireland in April. Monsters Of Folk have begun work on a second album, the band’s members have announced. The supergroup – which is made up of Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, M Ward and Mike Mogis – declared their plans on Twitter.Oberst tweeted Twitter.com/OberstConor that the group were “writing new material” and that he “can’t wait for you to not have to [wait] anymore”. The band, who released their self-titled debut album last year, played just two UK shows in support of the record, with Oberst knocking over his piano at the band’s London date last November.
